So, here's the new family shot!! If everyone looks a bit tired, except Miss Ida, who is happily getting plenty of rest, it's because they are tired!! (That's how it is with a new baby in the house!!)

It has been great to see Hester!!! She has been my grocery shopping buddy and kitchen helper - and she does a great job with Miss Ida too! (Theo looks a bit worried when he sees her - thinking she's coming to babysit again while his mom leaves!!)

He's willing to be tickled by yours truly - and to take walks to the park and playground!!

You know the old saw about how a new baby makes your toddler look ancient? Well, Eliza saw this shot and said, "He looks like he's 10!"

And of course, the star of the show, Pretty in Pink, Miss Ida Rachel herself

All is going well - I must say, I love being in the house when a new baby comes home!! Like Melanie Wilkes in Gone With the Wind, I would say that "the best days are the days when babies are born!"
