Happy 70th to Linda!!

Linda and I go way back - back to the births of our sons Noah and Andrew.  And it was a wonderful relationship for those mothering years to have a daily debriefing as Linda dropped Andrew off each morning.  And someone to commiserate with at the end of each day.

These two photos are from a visit to SLC a few years ago - I miss seeing Linda - we mostly just exchange Christmas cards - but I love her as a friend - and so glad she's a "Girl of '45" too!

It's fun to see Andrew now and again on the pages of FB.  And fun to sift through old photos and see his elfin face pop up!!

Those boys were lots of fun.

Linda probably won't even read this, but happy day to you Linda!!

May the year ahead be the best ever!

Weekend fun!!

Went out to Mom's on Friday - and Josh Mitton stopped by since he was "in the area!"  Mom loves those kind of surprise visitors!!

Took her for her monthly pedicure.  She does know how to enjoy life - I bet she would have thought she'd died and gone to heaven if she'd gotten this kind of attention "back in the day!!"

Spent the night at Mom's - Mom, Donna, and I enjoyed chicken enchiladas for dinner - and some good conversation too.

Then I got up Saturday and headed out for Thousand Oaks.  My high school buddies and I had a collective 70th birthday party - posing here as "The Girls of '45."

Can I just say that you ought to stay in touch with your buddies from high school - just so you can re-connect for milestone birthdays and other events!  We get together a couple of times a year - and it's great fun!!

Friendship is truly "golden!"
