Ramdom at its finest!!

You may need a magnifying glass for this one - 1973 - Riverton, Utah. In honor of the snow some of you are experiencing. It was 75 degrees at 4:30 this afternoon here in SoCal!!

I came across this photo from our wedding reception - and thought how it didn't look totally like a 42 year old photo. Or maybe I've just looked at it for enough years that it doesn't seem old. But then they don't have "someone at the guest book" much anymore. And I love Pat Merrill's coat - I had a 6th grade teacher who wore a coat like that and I always wanted one for myself.

And this shot - well, these munchkins are all much older now - it must be 2004 - when we had 8 grandkids. Oh my, how the years fly!!

I guess the fact that we've almost got 42 years under our belts goes to show that you don't have to have an elaborate reception or even a nice backdrop to have a great marriage!

I guess they still catch bouquets though. And I'm pretty amazed that I can identify Alice, Mary, Mar Del, Susanne, Joan, Anne, Peggy, and two little girls from my LAUSD playground job!!

Not sure who is Santa here - I think this is from 2002 - just to get you local folks excited about the Terrill Family Christmas Party coming on December 27th!! Right here in M-town!!

Have a great Thursday!!

19 years of wedded bliss!!

As I thought about posting a remembrance of Bonny and Bruce's wedding day, (and btw just because I do a post doesn't mean others can't do a post of the same occasion!!) I was browsing through the photos. I know I've posted this before, but click on it and see who's there - and who's not there.

And reflect upon who's not with us anymore, which couples are no longer couples, which youngsters have grown older - it's a little microcosm of life. (Just to note - Harry was still up at BYU - but the 15th was the last day in December that the temple was open for weddings before Christmas - and so we had the reception on the 22nd so he could be involved. And Hannah and Noah were home with a baby sitter - I wasn't up for chasing after small ones - and it wasn't quite the same as it is now, when everyone brings everyone - it was, after all, 19 years ago!!)

But something that hasn't changed is the great couple that Bonny and Bruce still are!!

Here's to more wonderful years together!!

Wedding - Temple

I realize there are quite a few of my children, but so be it.
