Okay folks, it's 4:30 a.m. here in Monrovia CA - at least it was when I took this picture. And I don't have to be to work until 8:30 today because it is an in-service at the district for SPED teachers - so of course I was up early on a day I could have slept in!! Sometimes there is no justice in this world! I think I fell back asleep actually - I had some weird dreams anyway!

And the happy warriors were excited to be heading out for the Rim to Rim Adventure at the Grand Canyon. With his iPhone, Dad could, if he thought about it, email me pics along the way. So if he does, I will post them.
And if he doesn't, I will bug him about posting when he returns. They are not hoping for a repeat of last year - which Dad and Bruce both recounted on the blog in great detail - I would link that here, but don't know how to link a specific blog post by date. Maybe one of you Terrill readers out there could link it in your comment. (If anyone wants to review last year's adventure that is - I think Dad wants to forget it!)

The young woman is a friend of Karl's - her name is Lisa - she is married but when asked if he was coming along her husband said something like, "Me, run?" (Sort of what I would say!)
Actually I was invited this year - but when you are invited, it means you drop them off on one side and then drive 5 hours to get to the other side to wait for them. If someone had wanted to come along and keep me company, I might have considered it. I enjoy solitude, but not driving in a car solitude!
So Ella is coming for her birthday weekend instead - and we will let you know about the fine time we will be having!!
