The weekend before last, Trudy and most of her kids came to visit Grandma Terrill - Dad and I drove over and enjoyed being with them. The faces you don't recognize are Lorie's boyfriend and Diane's new boyfriend - both very nice guys!
So I guess I should have loaded them in reverse order! Oh well, just read the captions and improvise!!
This is actually Hannah and Robbie just before we left for the SL Airport - we had a great three days together - and got lots done. On the return flight, I was standing in line behind the son of an old missionary friend of Dad's - who is a mission president in Anaheim now - they were going down for a wedding there. Love the small world in Mormondom!
Here's Hannah at her computer in her crowded little bedroom. She has lovely roommates, but it's not the Ritz! (However, they are all gracious young ladies, and I was very comfortable.)
I had a great visit with our dear friend Sharon Swenson - head of the film department at BYU - and an old - as in long ago - friend. (We brought Bonny home from the hospital in her car - and she taught a 15 month- old Bonny to chew gum without swallowing it!! And Hannah did her study abroad in England with Sharon.)
A trip to Utah must always include a lunch with the old roomies - Joy was out of town, but Marlene, Pat and I enjoyed catching up - and reminiscing too!
I brought up Eliza's veil for Hannah - so the lovebirds obliged me with the some comic relief.
So I'm back at home - feeling like I've hardly been gone - visits have a way of doing that, don't they?
But the unpacked suitcase on my bed does indeed attest that I have been gone - and once again took too much stuff with me and acquired too much while I was gone!!
