But the entire talk is really very good. I remember Matt gave a copy of it to me to read several years ago, I think when we were still just dating, and I'll be honest, I had a hard time following it. I should have followed it, because I have been fortunate to have had several bosses at my various jobs who were great examples to me of real leaders and not just managers.
But watching Brother Nibley deliver it makes it especially engaging, interesting, and profound. I took a few religion classes from the head of the religion department at BYU, who shared an office with Brother Nibley. I never spoke to him but glimpsed him a few times near the end of his life. A very interesting and complicated man.
I wish I could find actual video of the talk (I know we had actual video when we watched it last winter) but have only found audio. I'm going to try to embed the whole talk here but I'm not sure if it will work:
