Bonny and Bruce met at a baseball game - during Bonny's Santa Barbara years. We loved Bruce from the start - and were certainly glad that Bonny did too! He fit right into our family, and we welcomed him with open arms!

Lots of others welcomed the happy couple on their special day!!

Such a beautiful December day - the kind California does well!

Some of the scheduling revolved around getting Harry home from BYU.

And Noah seemed to enjoy spending the night at Andrew's more than being at the reception! (His comment? "I thought you said it was a party?")

The reception was a week after the wedding - on our 23rd wedding anniversary! (Such a nice way to celebrate!)

Showers "rained" down on the bride to be! (do you love the hair!!)

I told the photographer I wanted one good family shot - and I got it!

Opening gifts on the 23rd - after church. Reminded me of when Dad and I opened our wedding gifts on Christmas Day 1967 - one of my little brothers ran up to me when we arrived and breathlessly informed me that there were lots of presents under the tree - "And they are all for you!!"

A couple of little gentlemen who weren't quite sure that this party was going to "measure up!"

Busy sewing - a labor of love!

Marriage certainly brings new friends into the family - we all love Jinny!

There had been lots of chaos surrounding all the wedding festivities and we hadn't even gotten our tree up and it was December 23rd. As we dined on leftover wedding food and got set up for the opening up of the wedding gifs, Hannah asked rather plaintively, "Is this Christmas?"

A sweet pair of flower girls!

Indeed a happy day for Dad and me. Seeing your first child married is a joyous experience - especially when they have made such an excellent choice!

Ah, Cosmo, always trying to get in on the action - or to chase a ribbon or two!

The beloved Budd and Bamom!!

Shower fun and toilet paper wedding dresses!

Lots of special events surround a wedding day.

Far and away my favorite wedding photo!!

Congrats and best wishes to a wonderful pair of folks we dearly love and appreciate!! Here's to the next several decades - may they be as wonderful as the last two!
