Happy 7th to the lovely Miss Isla!!

What is it about olives and kids?  Miss Isla obviously has the Terrill love of olives!!

Lots going on in Miss Isla's early years - as an almost two year old, baby Jonah came into her life.  She didn't understand what was going on - but she was a trooper and let others care for her and entertain her.

And now she does understand about Jonah - and loves him and wants to be with him in eternity.

Had another lovely Grandma's Birthday Weekend with Isla - she didn't want a manicure, said, "Oh we have lots of those bottles of polish at our house."  Wanted to play Slap Jack almost exclusively - and usually won!  Was fun to shop with - knew just what she wanted.  And chose to have lunch at Target - a hot dog and a blue Icee!

Have a great year ahead - heading for the big 8!!

Belated Birthday Greetings to Miss Isla!

We were out of town for Isla's birthday on the 29th, but I posted on the blog from my phone - but somehow it did not post!!  (The one I did for Harry W. worked though!  Who understands the vagaries of technology?)

So here's to a shout out for a wonderful year ahead for the lovely Miss Isla!! We had a great birthday weekend together - she is a wonderful little companion!!

Happy Day to Miss Isla!

The lovely Miss Isla is 5 today!!  How can that be?  I remember when she was born - we were at Hannah and Robbie's place in Arlington and Harry F. was texting us updates on the labor status.  (Remember, this was when we didn't know the gender beforehand, so we were pretty excited!!)

She has grown so much - and we've loved every minute of watching her grow!

I'm looking forward to our Grandma's Birthday Sleepover - and shopping and maybe a manicure!!

Happy day to you and all year through!

A special day for the lovely Miss Isla!!

Today is birthday number 4 for the lovely Miss Isla.

We are going to be telling the story for years to come how she was born while Grandpa and I were in DC for Thanksgiving!!  We might have missed the West Coast fun, but we were following on the iPhones and it was pretty exciting!!

Looking forward to our Grandma's Birthday Sleepover!!

Have a great day Isla!!
