48 years of wedded bliss!

It all began here on a beautiful December day in Los Angeles, California - we had flown in - something hardly anyone did in those days - because someone had slid on the ice and run into Harry and messed up our charming little Fiat!

The reception was at the Institute Building and was pretty basic - cake and punch - red punch even!

My uncle showed up as they were cleaning up - and was a little tipsy - but I'm glad he came - I think that was the last time I ever saw him!

Joy came to be the maid of honor - I think Alice made most of the dresses too!  Marguerite - a best friend from my school days - showed up with the sleeveless version of the dress.  Didn't bother me, but I think it bothered her - she had Leslie stand in front of her!

We had a very brief honeymoon in Santa Barbara - and returned home on Christmas day.  At my folks house, David rushed out to inform me that there were tons of gifts under the tree and they were all for me!!

After a few days of Harry working for his dad to bolster our pocketbooks, we headed back up to Provo - and Helen drove us in her station wagon!!  We got there on New Year's Eve!

Ronnie Horton gave us "Nutcracker" tickets as a wedding gift and we went - what a lovely way to start a life together.

And it has just kept getting better and better.

(I do post the same photos every year - because there were not very many photos!!  I would tell my kids when we shelled out big bucks for photos that you only need a couple of faves!! They didn't subscribe to that theory - and I love looking at their wedding photos - but I do have a few faves for each wedding!!)

Meet the new Mr. and Mrs. Sale!

Today was Greg and Maiella's wedding day - it was a lovely ceremony.

We picked up Noah on our way, and he stayed at the Visitor's Center with David Card so Hal and Blanche could attend.

Grandma was with us too.  She has become fond of Greg and Maiella - like the rest of us!

Some Terrill grandkids were rockin' and rollin' at the reception.

Cake for the new bride and groom - we are happy for them - and look forward to the pair of them in our ward when they return from their honeymoon.

Ah, love!
