Happy day to Harry!!

Harry was the cutest little guy - and the best baby!!

He was cute and cheerful - and something of a Mama's boy!!

He and Bonny were the "Lone Rangers" for 5 years, so he got lots of attention!

He wasn't hard to please either - which is always nice!

He loved Mr. Rogers - hence the cardigan sweater - that's what he always wanted to wear!

He liked working with Dad too!

Happy day to this "little boy" who's turned into a wonderful man!!

I love walks down Memory Lane - don't you??

Happy day to Harry F!!

Happy day today to Harry - and to Bernie also - the young man who spent a year as a family member - and who shared a birthday with Harry.

Harry was and still is a very important member of our family.  First is was Bonny and Harry.  And 5 years later came Phoebe - and 6 years after that, Elizahannahnoah!!  We are so glad we are a family!!

He takes his role as the oldest son - and the bearer of an old family name -  quite seriously!

May the year ahead be the best ever!!

You never know what you will find!!

My summer-time quest to tame the clutter in my life has produced some interesting results.  Going through boxes and envelopes and files has mostly produced trash in the bin.  But then I found this - an article about Harry F. in the Academic Decathalon at MHS.  He used to say he was "the token C student" but who knows?

If you look closely, you will see Bryan Nonelee in the picture too!!

Ah, the good old days of high school!

Fabulous Forty!!

Some random photos from birthdays gone by.  This would be Harry's 4th birthday in Centerville, Utah.  Good times in the Harris' house.  (Remember Elizabeth and Baby Kitty??)

The same birthday - he got a U.S. Mailbox lunch box and a Fuller Brush hair brush - and I think he still has it!!  (He wanted a cardigan like the one Mr. Rogers wore!!  And whenever he walked by his imaginary fish tank, he'd toss some imaginary fish food into it!  Just like Mr. Rogers!)

8th birthday - in Monrovia, California - That's Krissie in the background and Damond next to him - ah, the days on Lime Avenue!!  More good times!!

3rd birthday - in the Rock House!!  Good times in the Rock House - Sesame Street, racing up the stairs to beat the cold, Electric Company, the basement sump pump, Mr. Rogers, chickens in the pigeon coop, swing set  in the corner, sand box, overflowing garden, '52 Plymouth with the pristine interior, dancing after bath time, Fifields next door - who could ask for anything more?? (Maybe only Dad and I have these memories - you and Bonny were pretty young after all!)

4th birthday - in the yard at the Rock House - the 4 got composed with a 3 and one candle!!  That's David in the photo with him.  Remember Easter in the snow?  (Do you notice the bibs??)  (I was a little OCD about them!!)

Let the good times roll!!

Hmm, looks like someone is trying to get out of the picture!!

Or maybe not!

Marjorie and Eve enjoying Harry F's b-day cake!

Dad and Harry F. enjoying Harry F's b-day cake!!

There are always helpers when you need to blow out candles - especially 38 of them all at once!!

The lovely Miss Isla - who gets lovelier all the time!

Forever sweethearts! The best thing Harry ever did was find Dawn!!

A fine birthday repast - filet mignon, fresh corn on the cob, baked potatoes, green beans wrapped in bacon - I can feel my arteries hardening now - but it was delicious - and the birthday boy was happy - in spite of the look on his face!!

Bill and Marjorie left on Friday - we had some fun times - especially our nighttime card games - mostly Golf and Mormon Poker!!

It was an exclamation point kind of day for Harry - and the rest of us had a good time too!!

Have a great year!
