I had an idea - yea, even a knowledge.

Happy Birthday Matt - hope you do something fun today - and yes, 28 was a great year. I think Ella was born 6 days before i turned 28. Yes, Ella just confirmed it.

Many happy returns.
28 hasn't been too bad, so far!

I was 28 in 1973 - which means Bonny was 3 and Harry was 1 - so it probably was a pretty good year - we were in the 4-plex on 5th South and 10th East - and that was the year I learned to crochet and made lots of hats and Christmas tree ornaments - that still adorn our tree - the more I think about it, it was a peaceful, quiet time - no working, no significant church calling - I don't think I even had a visiting teaching assignment - and your dad was a Ward Missionary and positively loved it. We also had a little yellow VW bug - it gets better all the time in memory doesn't it!!

Enjoy your day Matt - the card is in the mail!!

I think 28 was a good year but ever since I have given birth to my children my memory is not something to be admired. Oh well!, 32 has been good so far(as I remember, maybe I should ask Steve).

I was 28 in 1994. I don't remember much about it, except that I had 4 kids and we lived in Mountain Home, where I was very happy. And we got a puppy in '94, and we still have her. I think it was a good year.

Happy Birthday Matt!

I, like Barbara, Bonny, and Phoebe had two little ones at home when I was 28. I remember being very content.

Happy Birthday Matt. This may be a silly question, but are you out of law school? Phil graduated from law school at 28.

What a handsome guy! Congrats, Matt! Many happy returns and all that. Now, when I was 28 back in ought-nine....

Welp, since Matt never answered this, I will: he's graduating this June. And he'll still be 28!

Where is he graduating from? Where would he like to work? Does he know where he will take the bar?

Eliza said...

Graduating from the U of U, doesn't know where he'll work, and where he takes the bar will depend on where we move! If we move to CA then the CA bar; otherwise, since the Utah bar covers several other states, probably the Utah bar. Unless he starts a job in the summer, in which case he'll take the bar wherever we go. The Utah bar is in July.

Have you considered Nevada? Are you hoping for one place or type of job in particular? Or do you just want work? "you" meaning both of you? I am assuming you will follow. Anyway, if "you" are interested maybe a trip out to Reno might be worth your while. Matt and Phil could meet and talk lawyer talk and or job.
