Looking forward to some news!!

Hannah was the only one of our children who arrived early!!  She was two days early.  Because my previous 4 pregnancies had ended with 10-days-late-plus deliveries,  I told everyone a date that was about 2 weeks past my due date. (The due date was August 22nd, so I told everyone first of September!)

Didn't I look like I didn't know how to count??

Hannah's not going to be two days early this time around - but hey, it hasn't been 13 days yet - my record for being late - and it's just adding to the excitement!!

We'll let you know!!

Our FHE tonight was sandwiches at Cafe Merengue and Gravity at the Krikorian!!

Great film - very intense - I'm pretty sure I never want to travel in outer space!!

Good sandwiches too.

And on the way in we chatted with Rene, and on the way out, we chatted with Henriette.

The weekend that was!

Spent another Saturday hour at Harry's soccer game - I did get the right bag in the garage this time though - so I had a chair, not a telescope!!

Harry and I also attended his 50 year High School Reunion in Temecula on Saturday night.  Harry had fun re-connecting - and I had fun just connecting!!  Did not take any photos though.

 

Deacon opened his eyes when I was around, with camera in hand.  He is a sweetheart!

 

Grandma Mary got the open eye look too!  We enjoyed having Mom and Donna join us for dinner.  I did not take photos - you will have to take my word for it that we all had a nice time!

Dad and I spoke at Temple City Ward - Helen joined us for that and shared her testimony.  We also went to our own ward, since they were taking a ward photo.

It was another busy Sunday!!

In memoriam

Today is the 2nd anniversary of the death of our sweet baby Jonah.  We continue to remember him and his short life.  And we continue to remember that we are a forever family.

A birthday celebration!

Porter and Harry spent the weekend together for Porter's Grandma's Birthday sleepover - complete with a pancake breakfast, shopping for the gift, Grandpa Bob stories, and lots of Lego building and computer games!

 

Trying to snag Deacon with his eyes opened hasn't happened yet.  But he's mighty cute even with his eyes closed!!

It's been a busy week!!

Happy Birthday My Sweet Ida!!

Today the lovely Miss Ida is 5 years old!!  She is just growing up so quickly!

 

Seems like yesterday that I was spending some happy fall days with her family when she arrived .

We don't get to see each other all the time, but when we do, we have a fine time!

 

She loves to make faces - as you can see!!

Looking forward to seeing her soon - in the meantime, here's to the happiest birthday ever!!

Birthday Buddies!!

Porter and Phoebe are birthday buddies today - and every October 11th for that matter!!  Here they are both at about the same age.

We tell the story every year - the story of how Bonny and Harry wanted a little brother or sister so much that they fasted and prayed for one - and their prayers were answered with the arrival of Phoebe!

Porter is a great young man - smart, articulate, musical, and full of fun - a great companion for his aunt on this happy day of the year!!

Dawn and baby Deacon came home today.  Miss Isla is her  momma's right had woman too.

And still telling everyone his name is George!

Happy Birthday Sweet Baby Jonah!

We celebrated baby Jonah's 2nd birthday in fine style.  Harry took the children to put balloons on his grave, and earlier Kathy K. and Bonnie C. visited and put decorations on his grave and took photos - then went and visited Dawn and showed her the pictures.

We had a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake and blew out candles after singing.  Harry video taped it and sent it to Dawn.  Eliza sent a magnificent spread of cookies and pastries - I give up on dieting!!  Dawn and little Deacon will be home tomorrow, so life should settle down soon. 

Or at least move into organized chaos??

The newest Terrill grandchild has arrived!

It seems fitting that on the 2nd anniversary of the birth of our sweet baby Jonah, we are welcoming the newest Terrill grandchild since his birth.

Baby Boy Terrill - name to be announced - was born on the 7th at 4 p.m.  Weighed in at 9 lbs. 4 oz.  So he's a birthday buddy with Fred!!

Eve was at gymnastics - that's why she's not in the photo - but we had a lovely visit.  Isla insists on calling him George.  That may end up as his nickname - at least in her book.

Baby Jonah's Birthday

Today marks the 2nd anniversary of the birth of our sweet baby Jonah.  We are grateful for his brief sojourn with us, because he taught us so much.  And we are grateful that we know we will see him again one day.

UPDATE!!

There's a new baby boy Terrill - he weighed in at 9 lbs. 4 oz. We haven't met him yet - will take photos when we do and show you if you'd like!

17 grandkids and counting!!

Of course there's no name yet - it is baby boy Terrill after all!  We have a reputation to maintain!

Still in a holding pattern!

No news yet - getting excited though!!  (At least for Dawn - Hannah has a bit to go!!)
