A little news from the past!

Not sure why finding this clipping was so very fun for me.  I don't think I've ever seen it - but it has obviously been around for awhile!!

The Wedding Weekend

It was fun to have Hannah here - even briefly. We headed out Saturday a.m. for the temple and Melanie's wedding. It was a beautiful fall day!! Hannah especially relished that - since Robbie told her that it was snowing in D.C.

There was a large group inside and outside the temple - I'm sure Jacob and Melanie felt loved!!

It was fun for Hannah to see lots of old friends at the reception - especially Jen Thorp. (But I called her Jenny!!)

And it was fun to congratulate Catherine and Peyton on their engagement!!

Hannah spent time with Harry and Dawn - discussing Young Women stuff with Dawn, since Hannah has a new calling in Young Women. And Noah came by after the reception for a visit and some hot chocolate. It may seem warm to Hannah, but some of us felt chilly!!

We are indeed looking forward to visiting at Christmas!!

What's going on around here!!

It's been pretty busy since I got back from Virginia. For starters, we attended the wedding reception for Irene Rash. It was fun to see Rachel and David, as well as Serafina and Andy. It was a Mexican wedding - complete with lots of good food, lots of music and dancing - and the Money Dance!! Dad participated - luckily I had cash in my purse!!

On Monday, I hosted a retirement luncheon for Anna May. It's not the "official" celebration - just some of us old Clifton folk gathering to eat and visit - and I even orchestrated an Anna May Bingo game that was a big hit!!

Everyone brought food - I just had to schedule it on the day Arcelia comes - and I made President Kimball's Favorite Dessert - and it was a huge hit!

There about 25 all together - and it was lots of fun - we decided we ought to have a mid-summer luncheon every year - just on general principles!!

Harry and Dawn are back from Texas.

On a more somber note, today was the funeral for Ron Olsen. Dad was one of the main speakers - and he did his usual great job.

Now we are happily getting things in place for Phoebe and David's arrival. Turns out Leslie and Sarah are coming at the end of the week too - and a trio of Bonny's beauties will be joining us also.

The more the merrier!!
