Baby Jonah

Our sweet baby Jonah ended his brief sojourn here on earth 6 years ago today.

 

His journey on earth was short - but he taught all of us much that we will never forget.

"Eleven days of life, a lifetime of memories."

Happy Birthday Ida!!

Ida is a special little girl - who is getting bigger and older all the time!! 

She is bright, quick, witty, compassionate, caring, helpful, diligent, and just about every other positive adjective you can think of!!

She devours books, swims, sings, plays the piano, and is the best little conversationalist I know!

Happy day to you, the lovely Miss Ida!!

40 and 13 - significant life events!!

Happy 40th to Phoebe - a nice alliterative ring to that!! My, this bright happy little girl is now a bright happy 40 year old!! She is just hitting her stride!! 

She was longed for - and didn't disappoint when she finally came into our lives!!

 

And now this little guy is a teenager!!

Remembering Baby Jonah

Today is the 6th anniversary of the birth of our sweet baby Jonah.

 

We only had him with us for a brief time, but it was a very meaningful time.

 

I'm not sure I would wish for the experience for anyone, but it was a blessing in my life - and the lessons learned from those brief days have stayed with me.

Happy Birthday Bonny!!

You love all of your children - and there is not accurate to measure love and say, "I love this child more" because you don't - you love them all differently.  But the child that makes you a mother just holds a special place - and there's no changing that!

 

Bonny was a wonderful baby - even with the colic, we loved her immensely - and still do. Fortunately there is no colic anymore!!

 

And there is also something about the husband your firstborn chooses - if you are very lucky, they will be like Bonny and choose Bruce.
